I recently listen to a podcast where the host was discussing his journey towards nirvana or a sense of peace and happiness.

This caused me to think about finding nirvana in retirement. Retirement marks a major life transition. After years of work, many look forward to a time of rest and enjoyment. Yet the reality can be more complex. Some retirees find themselves searching for deeper meaning and peace beyond leisure. Finding nirvana in retirement means discovering a state of true fulfillment and calm that enriches this new chapter.

Nirvana often refers to a state of perfect peace and happiness, free from stress and worry. In retirement, it’s less about escaping life and more about embracing it fully. This means:

  • Cultivating inner calm and contentment

  • Engaging in activities that bring joy and purpose

Finding nirvana is a personal journey. It requires reflection on what truly matters and making intentional choices to support well-being

14 weeks to the possibility of nirvana.

And yes- I know that Nirvana is also a popular band from the 80s!
